... right. it's official. i feel crappy today. well, right now anyway.
i'm having the monday blues, despite it being the holls. wow D=
speaking if monday blues (i.e ka-aabah yaum ithnain in arabic), it seems to have got to Ustad at tuition as well.
haha! kay. i *think* he got high on coffee. but who am i to say right? anyway, we had a blast today at tuition (:
he cracked jokes on his 'lost brain' and 'ustad yaum ithnain majnun'. hahaha XD

and yeah. today we learned a valuable life lesson. always always always ALWAYS read the instructions.
i mean, the paper had a passage and questions and everything, but then there was the tricky part.
the instructions didnt tell us to answer the questions, it told us to explain the underlined words in the passage.
and to think we wracked our brains over those tough questions, and NONE of us did what the instructions told us to.
WHAT LAA USTAD. hahahaha XD he gets his kicks outta doing this kinda stuff to us i guess =__=''

Just making my rounds again. I'm turning 25 in a couple months. Ended an awesome stint at the top ad agency DDB 2 weeks ago. I never thought I'd one day be writing for McDonald's. But it happened. and I'm glad it did. They couldn't extend me due to budget constraints, and I know that. But somehow that makes me feel like I'm not good enough. My former boss has been a total champ helping me find another internship. And I've scoured the internet for opportunities, with some luck - but Fi says I'll just be wasting my time at the places that called me back. NTU offered me a place and I took it up without a second thought. I hope I'm not making a mistake. Friends and acquaintances are happy for me. Even my counselor said it's a good thing.
