slowly letting go.

i can't lie. it's great to be back.

i miss the feel of the keyboard beneath my fingers and the glare of the screen that degrades my eyes by the hour.

hold on, that didnt come out right. oh, never mind.

these past few days have been.. to sum it all in one word... amazing. perhaps even life-changing, for the better, if Allah wills it.

it all began when my monitor died on me.

and, knowing me, you'd probably think i was absolutely devastated (which i was seconds after i overcame the shock),

because, knowing me, my life is defined by the man-made wonder called the computer (sad but true)

and, without the computer..... yeah let's not go there.

of course, Allah makes things happen with reason (and i knew the absence of my computer would serve me well haha), if we dont find that reason, we should just trust that Allah knows best. yes? yes! yesss! :D

anyway, on top of that, i have always, always admired the speakers that come down to Darul Arqam regularly... and i think this month's speaker was Amazing. with a capital A.
Idris Tawfiq~ ! pleasseee come back to singapore soon =)
heheh, meanwhile i can watch his online shows =3

what else? the recent turn of events have been dizzying, to be honest.
i've made many many new friends, more than i've ever made in the past ten years of my life (exaaaggerrraaating~ but you gotta admit im not the most social person on earth ;P)
perhaps it was these new friends that taught me how wonderful it feels to be polite, or at least try to be, even to the most obnoxious people.
of course it tests the patience, but for some twisted reason i enjoy it =P

and by some (unprecedented, unusual and perhaps cruel?) twist of fate, i was landed in a course at Ngee Ann, which, honestly, i never really expected to end up in - hope is out of the question.
but hey -*alhamdulillah!* i got something science-related.. and besides, the course's name is kinda cool. heh, i could get used to this xD
i was worried i wouldn't get anything i liked due to my less-than-impressive O's results haha ~

and while waiting for poly to start (in april- what month is it now? yeah my point exactly) i signed up for a short course at Al-Zuhri (Masyi's school!)
and i think that's all i've done to kill the boredom, and no, it's not very effective.

last sunday yoda (youth group - not the green guy from star wars) had a picnic at east coast.
there we learned how to treat apples like humans (and maybe failed miserably? i ended up eating mine)
and had to do intros, twice, 'cause some of us have suckish memory for names (coughcough, namely me)
but like i said, i made plenty of new friends, and they're aaaall wonderful *beams*
and on thatday i found out how it feels like to be a supermodel *chokes*
ahuh zaf, just cause people were walking around with superfancy SLRs taking shots of the picnic for facebook, that doesn't make you a supermodel.
it felt cool anyhooo. my favourite shots were the ones with Idris Tawfiq, where we had to "laugh on cue".
you know... "1..2..3.. laugh!" "HAHAHAHAHAHAA!" *snap snap snap*

yeah, i think i described that accurately enough.

oh friends, i am happy =3 Kim Heechul<333 released a single ! aaaahhh ~!! it's titled Chobyeol, and it's really really sweet <3

i guess that's all for now =)
